Remember to hide all the security-related pieces of code from the task description, like passwords, server paths etc. for your own safety. Once we close the task, we cannot edit it anymore!

The code generated for the templates with inheritance uses the unexisting `$mode` variable, which is not available anymore. Furthermore, it calls the `_compile()` method with two arguments, and there is only one. The problem appears only if we use a custom error handler for PHP, because normally, notices are disabled during the compilation and execution.
